Calif. High Desert AVA
$26/Bottle $8/Glass
2012 Willow Springs Village Grenache. Nelson Family. Located in the historic Willow Springs in the California High Desert. Wine was first made in this vineyard during the Late 1800s by Ezra Hamilton who built the stone village which graces the label.This area was a key stop for early desert pioneers. This Grenache is a lighter style wine, with plenty of rich fruit, fig and slightly woody notes.

2012 "RIO LOBO"
$15/Bottle $5/Glass

The Lawrence family owns this estate vineyard in the Lobo Canyon area off Kanan Road. There you'll find small boutique and grand estates vineyards. The cool climate of the Malibu AVA provides an excellent source for growing classic California varietals. The 2012 Grenache is a light bodied, smooth wine. Herbaceous and floral with a light acidity.

Lake Hughes/California AVA

2015 Sawmill Mountain Grenache. Mazurkiewicz & Taylor Family. Tucked away in the canyons of Lake Hughes is Sawmill Mountain Vineyards. This family owned estate is used primarily for raising horses, but provides an excellent location to grown wine. The land has considerable history during the California gold rush. The family hand picks each varietals to ensure quality. Sawmill Mountain produces Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo and a delightful Rosé.

Lobo Canyon/Malibu Coast AVA

The Schlobohm family owns this estate vineyard in the Lobo Canyon. These wines are privately labeled for their business, Shirley of Hollywood. The cool climate of the Malibu Coast AVA provides an excellent source for growing classic California varietals. This 2012 Syrah provides a deliciously smooth and fruitforward body. Notes of blackberry jam and oak round out the finish. Lobo Canyon Vineyards also produces Cabernet Sauvignon.

2011 "STATE 31"
Larner Vineyard / Santa Ynez Valley AVA

Founded by college friends Brett Johnson and Josh Litter, State 31 produces classic California wines. Having spent years learning winemaking around the globe and in California, Brett & Josh gained hands on experience in the Sta. Rita Hills area, picking grapes for Clos Pepe Winery. Today State 31 produces Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and a Grenache Rosé. This 2011 Syrah is a rich expression of the meatiness of Syrah, grown in the 31st State.

Lake Piru/California AVA

Robert & Jill Crudup own a single vineyard near Lake Piru. There, they planted Syrah Clone 174. Over the years, their wines have won multiple awards . Using French Oak, the wine is delicately aged to produce ample notes of chocolate, raspberries and spice. Cooper's Ridge is inspired by nature andt he native hawk that surveys the vineyard.
